Est 1970, BCC is an active and thriving cycling community in central KY

Two wheels and a road bring us together but we are active in much more.  The club organizes and hosts the Horsey Hundred, the Red River Rally, and Pedaling for a Purpose which are nationally recognized cycling events and educational programs.

The BCC gives back to local communities through philanthropy but most importantly, we advocate for the safety of riders as we journey the beautiful backroads of KY!

Please consider joining us on a ride or becoming a member.

The Mad Hatters Are Growing

  • In 2021, the Kentucky League’s inaugural year: 6 student-athletes registered with our team, 5 of whom competed in the race series, and 3 licensed coaches
  • 2022 season: 14 student-athletes,  5 licensed coaches
  • 2023 season: 27 student-athletes, 19 participated in racing, 14 licensed coaches
  • 2024 season: 27 student-athletes, 16 licensed coaches
  • 2025 season: 27 student-athletes, 16 licensed coaches

Team Budget Needs:  The team is currently seeking sponsorship to support purchasing team uniforms (race kits), team bikes (to loan student-athletes), race-day equipment (spare tires, tubes, bike stands, replacement parts, etc.), and team supplies (first aid, food, team event tents, chairs, etc.) Sponsorship funding supports Wilderness First Aid training for our volunteer coaches and allows us to pay travel stipends to attend races.

Running a business is hard, choosing your community investment shouldn't be.

Consider this your invitation to sponsor your local student-athletes!  For information about our sponsorship-level marketing perks, please follow the link to the Mad Hatters' RallyUp campaign where you can contribute securely, receive your tax deduction receipt, and communicate with team leadership.
